Volunteers are a precious asset at River Oaks Elementary. If you are interested in one or more of the opportunities listed below, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator (see column on the right), giving your name, child's name, home phone number, cell phone number and email address.

School Directory:  (August-October) scan copy/input data, proofread, layout

Fun Run:  (October) help organize event, distribute T-shirts, work at the event

Fall Frenzy Auction Party:  (August-early November) help with donations soliciting/tracking, software input, publicity/ticket sales, catalog layout, decorations, venue setup/breakdown, check in, check out, etc.

Book Fair:  (January/February) help plan event, setup/breakdown, cashier

Carnival:  (March/April) help plan event, solicit donations, setup/breakdown, work in booths

Field Day:  (May) help plan event, give out snacks/drinks, work during

Throughout the year:

Library Support:  assist with shelving, cataloging

Traffic/Carpool Assistance:  (Any Day) help children in and out of cars in circle Drive/Avalon

Nature Center:  gardening, maintenance of the center

IB:  help with bulletin boards and projects
